NVQ’s are competence based qualifications which means you learn practical, work related tasks designed to help develop skills and knowledge needed to do a job effectively.

By undertaking an NVQ you will be collecting evidence of your everyday tasks and completing a series of units, some mandatory and some optional, which all count towards your NVQ.

SBYF can offer voluntary work placement opportunities for those people with no employment so that they can enrol on an NVQ course and gain practyical work experience.
